Historical point of view I bought this to read to my kinder class and it’s a REALLY nice book with lots of historical information, it was just a bit much for my age group of 5-6 year olds. It would be perfect for 1st or 2nd graders.
WE LOVE GAIL GIBBONS We are homeschoolers, and my (very advanced reader) 5 year old daughter is very much an independent learner. I gave her this book about a week before Valentine’s day and she read it cover to cover many times. She knew more about Valentine’s day than I did, so she taught me!Very well written and illustrated.
Three Stars Kinda wordy but love the classic illustrations.
