Just because you’re a road runner, doesn’t mean you can’t explore beautiful places. If you schedule enough half marathons you could go to most of the national parks in the country, and you’d want the Topo Athletic Women’s Magnifly 2 Running Shoe on to do it. This 0-drop shoe enhances your natural gait without disrupting it. The midsole has two layers, a soft, cushioning layer against your foot and a firmer, more responsive layer closer to the ground, that work together to minimize energy loss as you run. The roomy toe box allows your toes to spread out as they naturally would when taking your weight, and the toe has a slight rocker to it to help your foot articulate through the toe-off phase, letting you run exactly how you were meant to–just a little more effectively.

Updated model of this shoe feels looser all around So I’ve had these for a while this is the second line of running shoes whose updated models are moving in direction i don’t like. And that is they are making the shoe profile a bit “higher” in area of fabric over front of foot. I have struggled to use the right words to describe it, but what it does is make the shoe generally feel “looser” than previous versions of the model. Altra did the same thing. I really like the toe boxes of Altra and Topo more foot shaped. Since the intro of these shoes I now despise any triangular front shaped running shoe. I also like cushion but low to zero drop. When Altra started radically changing their old Torin design and they were just too loose to the point i was tying the laces and fabric would buckle because of how much i sinched up laces I found Topo. I have have run in about 5 pairs of Topos – both magnifly and ultafly. These are the first ones I bought that are the second generation and it definitely feels looser all…
Great toe room Gotta admit, this shoe is comparable to the Altra Intuition 1.5 and 4.5. Great toe room, and well constructed. I love this shoe. This is my first time running in Topo, and I have been happy with the fit. There is plenty of wiggle room for my toes. If you are into the low drop shoes, this is a great option.
