Fine for a man (with skinny wrists) I have an older mens ironman which has gotten a little beat up and needs replacing. The band is much longer than I need. The metal clasp sits off-center on the underside of my wrist, closer to the part of my wrist which curves around to the front. The too-long strap sometimes flops around and catches on things. Timex warrantee is not for basic watches I purchased this watch on November 1, 2018. I knew this was a basic watch when I purchased it. I was told by Timax to get one with the Timex warranty, not the Amazon warranty. The back light quit working on February 7, 2019. I can get a free return shipping label from Timex. But, there is an $8.00 handling fee. If it is the battery, there is a $20 charge to replace the battery. So my $38 watch can potentially cost me $28 for repairs. Plus, it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get it…

Ordered one for my wife – she only showered and … Ordered one for my wife – she only showered and swam in shallow water with it – soon filled with water. Tried another, cheaper watch which did the same. Came back and tried another one, thinking (given the rating) we must have gotten a fluke. Nope: second watch is absolutely clouded with water droplets; happened after only a few months. The face promises “100M” of water resistance, but my wife has never gone below 1M of water. Beware: apparently not appropriate even for washing…
