The stone is ‘soapstone’ – even tho it looks really shinny – it isn’t quite that shinny and it isn’t hematite which it sorta loo my husband just loves this… The stone is ‘soapstone’ – even tho it looks really shinny – it isn’t quite that shinny and it isn’t hematite which it sorta looks like in the photo. But all in all….. it made a big impact… well done!!!
Semi-disappointed I’m a little disappointed with the engraving quality and the overall stone appearance. The lettering is kind of sloppy and the stone is scuffed up. The picture gives a better appearance and had I known it didn’t look that good I probably wouldn’t have purchased this particular item.The size of the stone is good. I didn’t expect it to be this big or heavy.
Sweet gift Very cute momento. Bought it for my husband because he loves keepsakes. It came in a cute gift box. Nice pretty stone, grayish black in color, etching was more of a white. The same size as the palm of my hand so 4″ or so across and 2″ thick. Seems to be an actual polished rock.
