Meet your unhealthy breakfast sammich genie!I do have two negatives. First, you may want a little tray to put under it. It tends to drop little crispy bits all over my nice cleanish counter. Second, you’re going to overdo it trying to make an ultimate breakfast sandwich and cause overflowing egg and cheese to get everywhere. Don’t feel bad, though; this little guy doesn’t judge. With a little bit of practice, you can make a perfect sandwich using healthy (or not) alternatives to the drive-through window in as little as ~5 minutes. It’s very important to let this device heat up fully before cooking to achieve the best toasting. Additionally, making sure that the egg segment is fully locked is also important. This gadget would have gotten 5 stars, except we’ve noticed that sometimes the egg tends to leak out the back. Most of the time it makes a perfectly circular and cooked egg “patty” which actually cooks directly into the bread, locking it in place. Similarly, the cheese melds to the other side. This helps keep your sandwich in two perfect pieces, making it way easier to keep together than a sandwich pieced together separately.EDIT: After about a year we’ve had to get rid of our sandwich maker when the non-stick started to peel.
