The Android Wear watches I liked.. Background: I have had the original Pebble, a LG, ASUS and Samsung smartwatch as well as a Fitbit HR Charge. Unfortunately the Pebble was put out of business. The Android Wear watches I liked…except for the daily worry about is the battery going to last. I wanted something to monitor my sleep but…the batteries always needed charging. I loved the Samsung S2 but the rotating dial froze up…so then I was on the fitbit which is a good little watch…but didn’t like how it looked on me and it was hard from me to read the watchface. So along comes the Amazfit Bip. On sale for $65.00. What the heck…I’ll give it a try but I’m not expecting much for $65.00. I have had this now for one week. I step out into the sun…I can read the watchface perfectly…I don’t have to do the hand shade thing or look for cover in order to see what is on my screen. This literally lights up out in the sun. I will admit that the watchfaces are not anywhere close to being refined as the Android…

Love it. 8 year radioshack manager here. I have a lot of experience with smartwatches. I’ve owned the Moto 360, 2 gear’s, an Apple Watch, Zenwatch 2, Garmin Forerunner, and a Pebble. I’ve used the blaze and versa for a week each as well. This is actually my favorite smartwatch so far. Best battery life. Inexpensive. Simple. Smooth. Great visibilty in sunlight. Doesnt have the bloat of android wear. Does the basics you’d really want from a smartwatch. In short, if you want a watch to push notifications from Calls, Text, Email, Calendar and apps of your choice. If you want a watch that will monitor your activities, heart rate, and track you with gps. If you don’t want to plug your watch up to a charger every day or half day (so far my watch has never consumed more than 3% charge in a day). Then this extremely inexpensive watch will do the trick. Only two downside is its not waterproof and you cannot listen to music directly from the watch so youll still need to bring your phone on…
